How can I safely secure my heat lamp with glass lid?

I am getting a custom piece if plexi glass cut for my snakes tank to better retain moisture but I don't think it's safe to just leave her lamp against the glass because she could burn. Is there anyway I can mount it so she doesn't get burned but still gets heat?
